The following was poster on the Boxster Board...
Thanks guys, empeg is the greatest thing to have happened to car audio...

Porsche Pete's Boxster Board

OK,
So I have been a active viewer and a not so active participant
on the board from the time I ordered my OB/SB/MB S in November until now.
I have seen great posts and have learned alot.
Of all the aftermarket things I have seen done to cars and Boxsters specifically, I believe that the Empeg car player is the best thing to have happened to car audio and specifically boxster audio. You can upgrade your amp initially and have much better sound. Then you can do the speakers. But being able to transport all of your music with you, and also pull the thing out and use it with your home stereo is an unbelievable thing.
I highly recommend checking out www.empeg.com.
I do not work for empeg, but as a lover of cars and music, the empeg has filled any gap between. Expensive, yes. But then again aren't the finest things in life?

Steve

Hm yeah, I think if you're driving a Boxster you're not worried about dropping a couple bones on an Empeg.

Heh! I tried a similar thing on the Audi TT discussion Board, but they all complained that it was too derivative whatever that's supposed to mean.

I left the heathens to suffer the injustices of CD changers.

Who knows!

A strange bunch on that board. They weren't impressed at all.
