Wow, echoing a recent rant I had with some Starbucks people. Those sizes are almost as stupid as when movie theaters have sizes medium, large, and extra large. Where the hell is the small? You can't, by the definition of the word medium, have a medium and no small! Argh!

Uh... Have you been to a movie theater concession area recently? The smallest available popcorn could feed a family of four for at least six months, and the smallest available soda comes with a hand truck so you can wheel it into the theater. If anything, the size "names" at the movie theater understate the actual size of those items, as compared to what you'd get at a McDonalds or whatever.

As for Starbucks, I don't find their tall particularly tall, I don't find their grande particularly grande, and I don't have a frame of reference for "venti" or whatever it is, because I would never order that much coffee at one time, especially when it's like $5 or whatever.
