I finally got my phone installed today (they call it Indiana slow time for a reason) so I am back on the internet after 12 days of being gone. I'm almost done moving, have one more van load to go and clean up the old house, and unbox and organize the pile in my garage and then I can start enjoying life in the country with the cows

I updated my email address if anyone wants to know it.

I'll try and get hold of a camera next week when things calm down a bit and take some pictures. Being a new house, I'm surrounded by a sea of mud, the yard will be graded and seeded in the spring.

I'm still getting used to the extra hour of drive time a day but so far, I love it out here. I like the slower pace of living in the country.

I know that feeling...(View from top bedroom)

You will notice the surprising thing of builders working on the site today, and it's raining too!!! Also the lighter strip in the back garden is where we dug in a duct for the CCTV camera on the back fence over looking the Smart. Not even begun to think about the garden, looks like the first job will be to dig out the layer of hardcore under the topsoil, and extend the parking into the back garden while I am at it.

A job for the spring I think

Cheers

Cris.
