I updated from tRio 0.1.4 alpha4 to 0.1.6. I can use the menus on the Rio Receiver to select music or tune to internet radio stations, but once the music is playing, the display doesn't refesh at all -- I don't see new songs as they change on the radio station (this is with stations that do send the individual song data ) and when I'm listening to queued music, the song information stays the same as the first thing played.

Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it? Anyone else have this happen? I'm using the 1.4.2_07 version of the Java runtime.

Judd,

This sounds odd - no one has reported anything like this before. I spotted something the other day that *might* explain it though. Are you running under windows or linux?

(Sorry for long delay in reply -- thanks for your response)
I'm running under Windows. I rebooted the server where trio/jreceiver/arm(for ARF serving only) run and then the display worked fine for several days. Today I started experiencing the problem again. When I would switch radio stations, I wouldn't see the new station on the display (but could hear it.) Likewise, switching to Queue mode resulted in seeing only the info from the last song I had played in that mode. Rebooting the Rio itself seemed to correct the problem this time.

Side note: Song title scrolling doesn't seem to occur in one of the two layout settings (universal, I think). I'm not sure if that's by design.

I've seen similar problems in the past. The problem occurred for me when more than one instance of TRio was running. To see if this is your poblem, try killing the TRio process using 'trio.sh stop', then see if there are any TRio items running. If so, that may be your problem.
