After having my empeg sitting on my desk for almost two years now, I finally managed to install it in my new Z. Many thanks to Rob (robricc) and Paul (pgrzelak) for your support and generousness.

The empeg is connected to the original Bose system and sounds way better than the factory tuner/CD changer combo.
I'm still trying to get the original steering wheel audio controls to work with the empeg, but I hope to resolve the problem before the Cambridge meet. Also on the to-do list before the meet is to get the system calibrated using a pink noise generator and my Behringer RTA.

Beautiful! I wonder if you used a similar wiring harness as I did to integrate with the Bose.

Wait, chrome handle? How did you manage that?

At first I used a PAC Audio adaptor, but I was not too happy with the overall loudness. Then I hooked up the empeg directly to the Bose system using a generic adaptor, which increased the loudness.

Well, the handle... It's the original one I stripped and polished. Looks quite nice, huh?
I actually did that already a while ago. I guess you have seen it in Amersfoort two years ago.
