I was curious if somebody from empeg could tell me if this is a bug they already know about.

I was using the empeg in the car, playing some music. Shut the car off.

Went inside, came back out, turned the car on. Music started playing (BUT NO SCREEN OR DISPLAY). Tried all the buttons but no screen still.

Turned it off & back on, and it worked fine.

This is minor, but could get anoying, just wondering if you guys have seen this??

Chris

I've seen this as well on my unit (#15). I cleared it with a power cycle too.

This is due to the power surge when turning the display on with a low(ish) battery voltage (ie, engine not running) - what happens is that the power fail interrupt triggers and blanks the display.

Hopefully we'll have some movement on this in the next release, it's on the to-do list.

How about one for programmers that make plug-in's and such for the unit?
