The player's menu has significantly expanded since a suggestion to simplify it was honored by Empeg some 6 months ago. At present it is eight options wide. I have also difficulty switching between the many equalizer settings, or finding back my preferred visuals from the 39 options.

The menu can be made less-wide, if options that can also be accessed from the remote or from the panel buttons, are buried more deeply than items that can only be selected from the menu. I could look like the following (shown here below each other rather than left to right; CAPITAL is default, as it is today):
