Is there a website that I can order small screws? I need screws to mount another HD and to replace the mounting screws on the outside of the RioCar case with flat head screws. Does anyone know what the thread size is on the screws?

Thanks for the help.

Wow.. not a single reply.. :|

The screws that hold the hard drive are standard screws for that type of drive. Any computer store should have them. To be honest however, I just "borrowed" two screws from one drive and used them on my add-on drive. I used them on opposing corners. I've had it like this for over a year w. zero problems.

As for the outer screws, I'm not sure if you can put flush mounted screws without mod'ing your case. If you simply want flat screws, remove one of them and take it into a good hardware store.. Sorry, I don't know the size...

Ahhh, I got one post at least

I eventually wound up using standard HD screws but I was worried that they weren't long enough after putting the washers in and would vibrate out. A little hot glue...no worries.

I am considering modifying the case which is why I am looking for the screws. I've not had much luck at hardware stores or electronic parts suppliers. Maybe I try watch/clock supply next.

Thanks.

Thanks. Close...its a 70, hence the need for the case mods. Gotta be the smallest opening for a radio ever.

I had a '71 with only an AM (and one dash mounted speaker) so I feel your pain.
