What would it take to build a tuner module? Also is there any sort of tuner module already made that may be adapted for use with the Empeg? Just wondering what this would entail. It seems like a software hack would allow for it. Is anyony up for the task?

Wow did you see that old laptop in the second link? 2 color monitor and about 3" thick!!
I've thinking about this too, but a simpler approach. I want to find some external tuner that connects to the aux in on my empeg. I would just hide the tuner somewhere "sort of" accessable because I only listen to 1 news channel on the radio and it would be nice to flip to that once in awhile instead 20GB of mp3's.
