There was a single feature of WinXP that I liked over other Win OS's, and that was the transparency of icon text on the desktop. It makes having background pictures cooler, as there aren't these single-colored boxes around all the text, which looks kinda bad.

Is there any possible way to do this in Win2K?

Well isn't that interesting. SillyWare is a new category I hadn't heard of.

Dude, that's pretty nifty. The autohiding the icons is weird though. I'm not sure if it's really cool or just irritating.

Thanks! That's a nifty little program. I do wish it would let me adjust some of the font attributes of the desktop text. One of the reasons I liked how WinXP does it is that all the text is white with a black border, so no matter what color the background underneath it is, you will always be able to read the text.

This is a cool solution, though. Thanks again!
