hijack page question - 29/08/2002 16:44

What' are: Richard Lovejoy's VolAdj patch voladj.patch 20409 bytes and Rene Vogt's RDS-Fake patch rdsfake.patch 1841 bytes ???? latest hijack include this features?
any reply are welcome.

If you download a hijack binary, then these patches are already included. If you choose to build a kernel yourself, then you will need to apply them to the source tree before applying the hijack patch.

The voladj patch allows the empeg to try and 'normalise' mp3s on the fly. Hijack provides a menu interface to it. I'm not sure what the rdsfake patch does.

Correct, the latest hijack already includes these, and you do not need them unless you are a programmer.

The RDS patch gives userland application access to the rds stream while the player is running
