I have read the FAQ I just got a 20 rio and when I try to connect to my computer it says the rio unit version is to new to use the version of emplode. Ihave downloaded what I thought was the newest version with no luck. On the head unit it says it is running 2.0 beta 13. Thanks

If you used the cd version of Emplode you need to update it also. They have to be the same version of software. Go to the latest software section at the top of the page to download it.

As Laura said, you need the matching emplode PC software so that emplode and empeg software versions are the same.
