Mark I to Mark II conversion - 29/06/2000 22:45

Rob (or anyone)

Can you confirm that the Mk.I to Mk.II data-xfer code will be included with the Mk.II units that shipped/will-ship in this batch?

And does this xfer code (while it's reading everything) also happen to do ID3v2 mass-importing like you mentioned might be possible?

There's a clone utility, yes - plug both into USB and it will clone the contents. It doesn't do anything with ID3v2, it just clones the contents of the units.

Does this utility just copy contents of empeg mk1 to empeg mk2?
Or does it sync the 2 units?

It erases the mk2 and clones the contents of the mk1 to the mk2. Anything more than that could be seen as helping piracy, I'm afraid...

Figured that would be the party line - you guys are sooo *well behaved* ;-)

All pretty accademic really as I've sold my mk1 and have not been invited to order a mk2 yet.
