Voltage on the AMP line

Hi.

Can the voltage on the AMP line be adjusted or pulsed, turned off with control?

In fact can this be done on any of the lines that go to the docking connector?

As my install does not use the amp line , i thought this might be a good option for controlling a fan (Internal or external).

IIRC the amp remote wire is tied to the power for the display, so I don't think you could pulse it without also affecting the display.
