Emplode sort question - 28/08/2003 17:12

Why does emplode always default to "Sort by Position" when sorting a playlist? Even though I do "Edit-->Set Playlist Order-->Sort by Title", which I thought might establish the normal sort default, when I actually go to sort the playlist it is always set to "Sort by Position" and I have to change it before I do the sort.

Am I doing something wrong?

I get this as well. Is there any way of sorting everything? I want everything sorted by track number but it takes ages to go through each album.

2.0 has an option on the Tools menu that might help.

The Edit menu option and the view ordering are separate. If you go into the Edit menu, it defaults to what's currently selected in the view, but not vice versa.

To change the view sort order, click on the column headers.

Oh erm. Yeah
I've never noticed that option before! Thanks!

To change the view sort order, click on the column headers.

Now why wasn't I smart enough to figure that out?

Note: That was a rhetorical question -- don't poke too much fun at me!
