Having obtained the latest delivery schedule from the manufacturer, we now expect to ship 50 units late next week, a further 200 the following week, and onwards from there.
We will resume contacting Mk.1 upgrade clients, and then deferred clients, from this weekend.

How long is the time-frame to order when invited?

I'm off on holiday for two weeks in late August, which may be exactly when my number (I'm 4 thousand and something) comes up. I certainly don't want to miss the boat.

This isn't written in stone, and I think it's in everyone's interest if we leave it that way. If you get back from holiday two weeks after we contacted you, then of course you can place your order then - but if we ran out of stock from that batch then you'll have to wait for the next.
The plan with the Mk.2 is to avoid that running out of stock part, though!
