Please, if any one is experiencing flutter with their requested logo due to the frame count, let me know and I will correct the animation.

I always test the animations on my Mk2a for size, color and fluidness of the animation before posting. But since not all players are the same, the flutter may exist.

Thanks again to everyone for their patience and comments.

For those wondering what he's talking about...

The animation is just there to kill time while the player waits for the disk drive(s) to spin up. Depending on how many disk drives you have installed, how long they take to spin up, and whether or not you've activated the "single disk" feature in Hijack, 30 frames might be too much for an animated logo.

The result is that, near the end of the animation, the player software is starting up in the background, and it tries to draw on the screen at the same time the animation is trying to draw on the screen. So you get a screen that flashes back and forth between the animation and the player startup screen.

So he's offering to shorten animations for anyone having this particular problem.

Heh, you know, it gives me an idea... I think it's technically feasible for Hijack to prevent the player app from grabbing the screen until the animation is done. Dunno if that would be difficult to implement or not. And you wouldn't want that to be the default, since the player app might well be trying to print an error message during that time. So it would have to be "at your own risk" if you enabled the feature. But still...

Hm, does that mean aniboots greater than 30 frames could be created? In other words, if HiJack makes the empeg wait until the aniboot is done, can the aniboot just keep going and going? Mmmmm, cool visuals. Of course, that defeats the "8 seconds to music" power of the empeg.
