AC Adapter Where to buy and model #?

AC Adapter Where to buy and model #? - 15/03/2004 00:03

I know this has probably been asked like 200x's before but I just looked through the FAQ and ALL Electronics in the US is SOLD OUT of their replacement adapters.

So where else can a US user go to order one? I also read some thinkpad power adapters work. I have several 600/600e thinkpad adapters but I don't wish to try them without being sure.

think I found a compatible adapter by searching the forum. Anyone use this adapter before and can confirm it works fine?

I have an IBM Thinkpad A21m, its powersupply has the same polarity, but its voltage is 16v unlike the empegs plug which is lower, would this hurt the empeg?

I just wanted to note in this thread that the power supply listed above from BG Micro works great with the Empeg. Cheap, too. And they shipped my order very quickly (2 days to arrive with standard shipping).
