Possible replacement handles - 12/10/2004 16:39

Hi, While I still have the original fascia and handle,it seems some other members could benefit with a new/replacement handle.
To be able to provide something back to this community I decided to have a go at it.
In the course of a couple hours using some basic tools(Dremel, vise, file drill) I was able to make a functioning handle out of some 1/4" aluminum.
While it doesn't have the exact same contours or detailing as the original(as mine is mostly square)I think it looks pretty good.
So i'm in the process of finding a shop to make these for me/us and to get an idea of a price.
To make the one I have cost about $10 plus my couple hours of time.
If I can find a shop to make these what do you think a reasonable price would be?I'm figuring about $50 dollars would be the max that I would pay.(hopefully less).
Oh i think I could get them either anodized black or like a shiny aluminum color.

Will post picture as soon as I can.

I definitly need a new handle for mine, Id prefer it to be black to match the face tho. My needle is holding up holding mine together but it looks so ghetto. Tho i think I need the whole handle assembly cause its kinda bent .
