Buttons - 12/09/2000 06:13

I thought I'd posted this, but when I went to have a look it had gone (or, more likely, I hadn't posted it in the first place).

I've thrown together a quick web page with descriptions for each of the buttons on the remote and their functions in both normal play mode and play mode with menus showing. I've put the page HERE - if anybody wants to fill in the gaps for the things I've listed as missing, please do.

Nick.

Excellent. Nice job Nick. The only thing i noticed that you left out was the functions in the EQ... such as the AM and FM buttons scrolling through presets etc...

Thanks =]

Just thought of another one. In search mode the cd-md-ch button toggles between "search" and "append". Maybe there should be another column for search and another for EQ modes? Just a thought.

In reply to:

Yes. The EQ, search, loudness etc. etc. bits hadn't been done. I've just had a go at the EQ stuff, but I'm not sure it's all right. Anybody care to correct?

Before you do that... any chance that you could re-format the page slightly to make it more printer-friendly? Right now it takes 5 pages to print it out. It would be really neat if you could compress it enough that each "genre" of definitions (normal/menu, and equalizer) would print on a single page, but if that's not practical, make each genre print on a pair of pages. It would do that now, I think, if the header information preceding the first button set were on a separate page.

Look at me -- Nick does all that work, makes a beautiful web page out of it, and all I do is complain about it not fitting my printer. Shame on me.

Actually, with what Nick has done here, I can probably make up my own cheat sheet to suit my own warped desires.

It does miss out the Mk 1 Radio functions as well, but since Nick has a Mk 2 that can be expected!

Good job of work. If you are interested in adding the Radio functions, please ask and I'll try and produce a list for you.
