Adding a second drive will this work? - 10/09/2005 18:41

I plan on adding a second hard drive to my mk2a and I was was wondering id this would work. Here is the link: http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/ref/jumper_settings.html#cable
I currently have a 100GB Seagate in right now and I have a spare 40 gb laying around that I want to install. Any help is appreciated.

You shouldn't need to get another cable the ide cable in the M2a will have a spot to plug the second drive into already.

And more importantly, the page you linked seemed to be about DESKTOP drives. The empeg only takes LAPTOP drives.
