Thanks and Goodbye - 09/03/2006 10:40
Hi All,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the time I have spent on the BBS over the last few years.
Even though i'm now fully ipod-enabled, the empeg will go down in history as the best and most flexible mp3 player EVER !!
Take care everyone. All the best !

Happy trails! We shall miss you!
And you don't have to run away just because you don't have an empeg any more.

Yeah, pop your head in once in a while. Who knows what cool information may be posted here before anywhere else. Still watching the portables forums...

WoW, ipods are ok but I could never give up my empeg. I don't think there will ever be an mp3 player better than the empeg!

I knew that, but I still have no idea what it has to do with mp3 players.

Yah, sorry- I'm in the same boat as you, having never seen the film.

Well I knew about the movie...even rented it on VHS years and years back, and regretted every minute of it. Within the top 10 of all time pukefests....but then I think Out Of Africa has got to be in the top five, if not the number one 'puke out' of all time....'I had an empeg once....' at least that would have got my attention!

How Sean Connery got suckered into doing that movie is a true mystery.

Zardoz, I DOES work great!
I was just up at SQUAW and was passing-up downhill skiiers in my stumpy snowboard. The snow was your typical sierra cement w/ heavy powder in the trees. But it was cloudy at 56°F, perfect spring skiing weather (no ice)... Anyway, just a simple wipe down before going on the hill gave my board a super slick feel...
