So much for your stealth install, though...

Folks said the same thing with the CA plate. The people who know what the empeg is aren't the ones I'm hiding the install from.

So cool, i wish, we could have such cool plates in Germany. Our system sucks, cause it's not customizable in any way...

cheers,

Yes, you couldn't do that in the UK, your plate has to be contrived from available issued(and sometimes unissued) plates. One thing I've never been able to get my head round (and I hope I'm not treading on any toes here) is why you would go to the vast expense of buying a plate with the make of your car on: BMW 777, MG 3294, JAG 111 etc., surely we're bright enough to figure out from the appearance of the car and its badges, what make it is!

Awesome! That's two, along side Rob's NY "EMPEG" plate. I only hope the NJ one is still available by the time I can afford a "for fun" car to put it on (the 1996 Buick Roadmaster with manual shift kit and "concert-hall-on-wheels"-try-to-impress-Doug audio).

Boxer: Yesterday I saw an M3 with the license plate "MMMMM 3" Odd....

I've gone one step further. I was a little worried nobody would be able to figure out from the appearance of the object not only the model but even what kind of a contraption it is. Hence..

Like people who like to remind everyone they own a BMW X5 by having it on their number plate too.

...and don't get me started on all the Daz's, Baz's and Gaz's with their Northern Ireland plates on their shitty Novas.

Or even worse when people who can't afford the real plates are creative with the fixing screws and turn 3s into Bs or 4 into A. Idiots.

Heh. I actually spent a lot of time procrastinating about getting WA plates at all. You had nearly an entire year to get them.

Jimmy Tarbuck has COM1C, proving that you can have a plate that doesn't describe the driver or the car! or is it COM 1 C anyway.
