Confused at looking to update my Empeg, are release canidate betas (rc1&rc2) improved releases of the consumer e.g. (1.02) or is the consumer version the final of the two rc's?

The version available on Empeg's support site is the latest version. The RCs are "release candidates" and were precursors to the final version.
