Empeg Mk1 10GB Green for sale

Empeg Mk1 10GB Green for sale - 10/04/2000 22:30

I'm clearing the deck in anticipation for the MkII player.

I've got a Mk1 empeg, 10GB, Green Display with all accessories (remote, manual, cd w/emplode, manual, bumper sticker, mains), a used car mount kit and an unused car mount kit. I bought an extra mounting kit for the truck which I never installed. It's serial number 00045 - get one of the first ones shipped! Soon to be a collectable! It's got Beta 10A on it right now.

Paid $1500, asking $1200 or best (or better) offer.

I've still got my 4Gig Blue for sale as well - I'll let it go for $900 at this point.

No, I'm not interested in giving ebay any money. If I can sell it here, all the better.

But judging from the response, I may be forced to ebay it. :(

I'm more than happy to pay ebay the $30 for my auction. I honestly didn't think that I'd be able to even get my reserve!

Just did. In fact I did my first HTML layout using composer to link to the pictures and stuff.

The link to the aution can be found at: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=309250111

The unit itself is located in Phoenix AZ. If anyone wants to drop by and check it out, drop me an e-mail.

Cheers!

Did you install the unit yourself, or did you have somebody in the Phoenix area do it? I was thinking about taking mine (when I get it) to AudioExpress, but have no clue if they do custom installs, or just stuff you buy at their shop.

Thanks for the help,
Tim

I did not install it myself. I used an installed in the San Jose CA area - which is where I had my car at the time the empeg arrived. I wouldn't use them again - they butchered my stock radio harness after I explicitly asked that they use an adaptor wiring loom. They also never did kill the alternator while...

When the MkII arrives I'm thinking about doing the work myself - I certainly can do a better job than the "experts" I hired - although they did do an excellent job of wiring my factory speakers to use with the clarion amp.

Cheers,
