There's no need for an update - the last update was "shipping target mid July" and nothing has changed.

The factory in the US are building them right now, and 1.03 is about to become a consumer release (it will come on CD with the tuner, do you don't have to bother downloading it if you don't want to).

I'm a little confused. IS anyone getting the tuner update free of charge or do we need to order one?

Origional Mark 1 owners who chose to buy a Mark 2 between a certain time frame recieved a discount, free carying case, and the promise of a free tuner. See this announcement for the full details.

If you owned a Mk.1 and went on to buy a Mk.2 under the upgrade discount offer, you will get a free tuner. We will be in touch soon to get a current shipping address.

If you did not participate in this scheme you will have to buy a tuner when they become available (next month). You will be able to do this online (eStore for the USA, empeg for the rest of the world) or at a branch of Car Toys (USA only).
