Just wondering how many MK1 units were produced and sold. I just purchsed a slightly used #00342 (now awaiting delivery). Can anyone tell me about when this unit was manufactured?

From what I've heard, there were over 350 Mark 1 units shipped to customers before they began gearing up for the Mark 2 units. So yours is one of the more recent units.
