I think most of these products are fairly useless until they figure out a way to put bigger storage devices in them. I've personally got a wince device w/ 32mb memory/133mhz processor/full color 640x240/full size keyboard sitting in my closet and gathering dust..

Thanks for that link. Interesting device.

Note: If you want to link something on this BBS, you can put an HTML "a href=" tag around it and turn it into a real link. Just thought you might like to know.

Will Yopy play one mp3 before running out of battery life?

And they need to fire their marketing people, because why would you name a product so it rhymes with Loppy, Moppy and Sloppy?

There's plenty of examples of bad names chosen for overseas marketing. Let's see if I can remember a few...

- Pac-Man was originally named "Puck Man". They underestimated American teens and their ability to scratch off a portion of the letter "P" on the arcade cabinets.

- The Chevy Nova wouldn't sell well in Spanish-speaking countries: "No Va" roughgly translates to "Won't go".

- There's a hilarious page with lots of Japanese-English translation stuff at http://www.lumine.net/engrish/.

Can't think of any others off the top of my head. Anyone else have any other examples?

And for the paranoid music piracy activists out there:

Here's something that seems a little more usefull, but has it's own set-backs as well.
