Noritake-Itron MN12832E.
Note that this needs rather a lot of support circuitry, refesh at ~200Hz, 60v, 4.8v AC, 5v DC supplies, etc. Itron also do modules (no greyscales on current models though) which are easier to deal with, ie you send them images and they display
them.
www.itron-ise.co.jp I think.

Hugo, do you have a data sheet and/or interface document for this display. I was not able to locate one on their (poor) website and my email to them was returned because of a problem on their end!
Thanks,

Itron aren't really a consumer orientated company - they mostly build custom displays to order, or at least sell their standard displays in significant volume. As with most electronic manufacturers, they expect to send a rep out to talk with you if you have an enquiry.
I suspect your best bet would be to find someone who distributes their products - although I have no idea if anyone does. We buy direct.
Hugo may have a sales contact he can pass on, though..

I wanted to interface the empegs display for an empeg project so a data sheet / interface document would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, no datasheet. They don't seem to believe in .pdf's, even the ones we get are on paper and this one appears to have got lost. I could probably find it, but that may require a few hours of searching!
