Where can I get fascias & remotes?

Where can I get fascias & remotes? - 20/08/2001 17:03

Now that the Tuner is about to come out, I was hoping to make a bulk purchase to save on shipping. I wanted to buy:

1) A red fascia (thanks to that backlit button pic)
2) A few remotes (car/office/livingroom)
3) Extra Docking sled
4) Tuner module

I assume that we'll be able to get the Tuner from the Sonic Blue site, but what about the remotes & fascias? I seem to remeber that you can still get them from empeg (overstock or something), but I couldn't find the thread.

Anyone know?

There's a whole thread in the Technical forum about it.

Not for the faint of heart, though, as it requires bending the expensive/fragile VFD display, soldering impossibly-tiny surface-mount traces directly on the display board, then rewriting the kernel to control the brightness.
