is there a display hack to display bitrate of mp3

but it only displays the encoded bitrate or average bitrate for VBR. I believe this is on the wishlist but I'm not sure if they will implement the display of the current packet bitrate

Is there already a date set for the release of 2.0? Will it still be this year?

A modification of Kit's time program may make this possible now, depending on a few things. I noticed recently that in my fids the bitrate is there. The question that needs answered is "Is that bitrate right, or something 2.0 will correct?" If it's correct, the program would need to know what fid is playing, and pull it's info file.

So if ver 2.0 beta is supposed to be around for x-mas, what happened to v1.1 ??

Tony is in his sadistic mood now (after having rebooted Internet for me earlier this afternoon).

What happened to 1.1? It got renamed, of course! If it's good for Microsoft, Sybase, Informix..., why not Sonic|Blue (is this the right way to spell it?)

Anyway, I can feel beta time coming closer and closer. I missed most of the fun with 0.* betas, but not this time!

1.1 is now 2.0. An increment of .1 seems insufficient for a major update, and also it was getting confused with the minor updates to 1.0 (i.e. 1.01 etc).

I believe it will be released a little earlier than Christmas.
