Tuner delivery charge

Tuner delivery charge - 05/10/2001 03:59

Well, I've finally got my tuner now. I had to pick it up from the post office and pay £1.80 additional postage. Are things that bad at Empeg/Rio/Sonic Blue???

No things are not that bad - we have a franking machine which works out the postage and applies it. I don't know why the post office would consider it to be incorrect, as they supply the rates table.

Email [email protected] and tell them I said to send you a free carry case. Ask them to get the postage right

Rob

Thanks for the offer, but I won't take you up on it. £1.80 is not going to break the bank and I already have a carry case.

Take him up on the offer! It helps to have a spare carry case as they are made of textiles and will wear out. If you don't get one now, who knows when you'll every be able to buy one in the future?

And I managed to ruin the zipper on my first carry case in just a few months, from being careless with it. My second carry case is in much better shape as I've been more careful with it.
