Merry Christmas! - 24/12/2001 06:34

We'll be closing down for Christmas in the next hour or so, but I'll keep an eye on the BBS and my email during that period.

Have a good one!

Merry Christmas to all the Empeg crew and all my fellow Empeggers out there. Thanks for the Christmas pressies Rob (2.0b7 & price slash ). I just hope that I managed to get my order for a 30Gig player placed in time (ordered it yesterday).

Yeah we were too busy working on 2.00 to have time to sign all those cards this year (and it would have needed rather a lot of them this time!).

Perfect timing. I had a hunch you'd release a new beta just before the 25th.

I finally got my door panels and the four speakers in them installed this weekend. So I finally heard the empeg in the car for the first time last night (and for an hour on the way into work today). Excellent. The music already sounds better than my stock setup - and I still need to install the rear-fill speakers and my sub. :)

Wishing everyone a safe holiday.

Until that happens, you might try my 2.0b7 with hijack v80 kernel. It's unofficial but it should work until Mark gets to an official patch.

Details in this thread.

Merry Christmas, you guys - thanks for all the Fish

...and I genuinely hope that 2002 goes one heck of a lot better than 2001 did - more power to your elbow!

Re: Merry Christmas! - 24/12/2001 13:01

Thanks Empeg folks!

I think this is the best gift I'm getting this year... unless you count the "Singin' Shoutin' James Brown."

Now to go unwrap this gift early!

Happy Holidays!

Shouldn't you be moving along now and get to your christmas, not that we don't appreciate your dedication. We are stuck at work and tied to our computers anyway.

Me too: Merry Christmas to all and thanks for all the fish.

As Paul Harvey said today, "Let's remember that it is His birthday that we celebrate."

Take care,
