Try rebooting your player while it's on the InfoText visual. When it comes back on, instead of displaying the song, it displays a bunch of info on the empeg and the developers, at least in version 2 beta 7.

This is a bug and had been fixed ready for the next release.
The intended functionality is that these credits are shown when the player reaches 'End Of Playlist' state.

This has been discussed several times before here on the BBS already. It is a bug in 2.0b7.
It's only supposed to show you the credits if there's no song selected or it's at "end of playlist". If it's playing a song, it's supposed to show the song information, even after a reboot. This should be fixed in the next release (let us know if it's not).
