Windows XP HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I am trying to connect my Rio to my new XP system using emplode 2.0 b7. It will not connect using ethernet, usb, or serial? Emplode lists the player as "Unkown Player on _____" (connection type). When you select any of them it says "The operation completed succesfully." What should I do? Please help Thanks in advance.

I think that you are probably using conflicting versions of Emplode and the player software. I believe that you must have matching versions of each.
