empeg power plug: accepted power ranges

I read that Voltage can be from 11v to 16v.
But what about the amperage (1a)? what range is accepted?

Self-regulating: as long as the adapter can supply enough (~1A) current, the empeg won't draw any more or less than what it needs. You can have a supply of 14V, 100A - the empeg will only draw as much as it needs.

I think you're misunderstanding the concept of amperage. Your PSU must be capable of supplying 1A. The FAQ entry is clear on this.
