Question on checking Rio in car in Holland

Question on checking Rio in car in Holland - 25/06/2002 12:52

Hi,

I own a Rio IIa for a couple of months now and am using it only at home (where it works great, giving me lots of fun) since I do not have a car where she can fit in (bloody shitty Rover, new car in 10 months). However, when I read this BBS and the FAQ I can't help noticing that there seem to be some issues with Rio's not always working properly in cars (dimmer, etc.).

So, I would like to check, before the warranty gets void in 9 months, that my Rio is working fine in a car as well. I live in Holland and would like to ask somebody in Holland whether I can come over and have a quick check (15 minutes or so) of my Rio in a car where the sled is already mounted. I only have to plug it into the sled and do some basic tests.

In short: can I do a 15 minute test of
- my Rio IIa
- in Holland
- in a car with a sled installed
- when I drive over.

I would be really happy if somebody could help me.

Thanks, Jaap.

I'm sure someone from Holland will chime in here, but if not, you're welcome to try it out in my car any time.
I live in Turnhout, that's about 115km from Den Haag.

Cheers,
Frank

You can try it in my car - I'm in Amersfoort. Mail me off line.

Why weren't you at the owner's meet two weeks ago, then?
