Window XP problem.......with RIO

does any one here have problems connecting the RIO with window XP?
i'm using the USB cables and all i get is a message from it saying " RIO IS NOT CONNECTED" or something like that.
but i have no problem connecting the COM port though.
if anyone can help. please do.

This is a known bug in the current software. Please search the forum first. This question is asked multiple times a week.

Go to the store and spend 10 dollars on a ethernet card. Then get a crossover cable and your problem is fixed. :-)
