hi! i am a german too and recently bought an empeg from TTony - he was very friendly and everything went very smooth. and do not worry about the power plug as you can easily get a new one. you can ask me about it if u want.
And if you think import taxes may be too expensive - they simply did not check my empeg... hehe

I also label them as "computer hard drive" to avoid/reduce the import taxes.

I'm from Switzerland and also recently bought one from TTony, very excelent delivery, indeed!
-After fixing the "HD Cable Bug" *g* everthing worked fine and I've bought a 220V Power Adapter here, wich also works great!
BTW: Yeah, that player rules! ;-)
