Similar empeg serial numbers

Hey Paul, if you're going to buy 010101259, you might as well buy 010101256 too. Man, if I could have two empegs with serial numbers that close, I'd think that'd be pretty cool.

Anyone else have two (or more) empegs with similar serial numbers?

I haven't won any yet. At present, I am happy with my players, but if I find another one at a low price, I will try for it. Based on what I have seen of the bidding so far, I really don't expect to win it, but (if I do) I am sure to find a good home for it. I know a few people who might be interested...

As to similar serial numbers, my current units were all purchased during the fire sale (I wish I grabbed a few more at that point... oh well...)

its actually a cool coincidence that my serials are very similar. my main serial is 2411, and my spare is 2511.

One of the jumpers on the hard drives came loose during shipping. Took me two hours to figure out how to fix it.

I was not deliberately driving up pricing. I was shopping for units for some folks at work, trying to see if I could find a bargain. I won that one (quite a surprise to me actually, because the high bid was relatively low), and I may be looking for a second one as well.
