Someone broke into my car and stole a bunch of stuff, including my empeg remote. I'd like to replace it for LESS than $50, which is outrageous for something that costs $19.95 from most websites.
Any leads appreciated.

The empeg remote isn't the same as the Kenwood one. The printing on the top is one of the differences but the main one is that the chip inside is programmed differently. The buttons on the empeg one support long presses on more of the buttons than the Kenwood one. This is the reason why they're so much more expensive than the generic Kenwood.
