There's a place getting a large number soon. I can't give any more details yet, but if/when I can I'll let everyone know here. It's a US supplier buying the last stock from SB.

Any chance of a batch of these making it to the UK? Now they've got usable Wavefinder / Shoutcast streaming support, FLAC and maybe Ogg I'd be really interested in getting a few more.
Thanks

I have absolutely no idea who will get them yet, and hence have no idea if they'll ship to the UK. Fingers crossed!

It's a US company. I need to contact them by phone before I can release any info, but I think they should have players by now. They're getting several thousand of them.

I tried calling them a couple of times but the guy I needed to speak to was out... I'll try again.

Tiger are listing them again:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?sku=M975-1036

Price is $149. Possibly, this is the last batch surfacing? I'm trying to find out where they went now...

Unfortunately they don't seem to ship to Europe...

Thanks Hugo. After much debate with myself of where I could stick another one I figured the garage would be a good place or the four year old might have a use for one here eventually in his bedroom. These things are awesome and I cannot believe they were discontinued.

Another contact point: Metro Business Systems have a quantity of SONICblue branded units (these have the same black casing as the Dell, but are no longer branded as such). They're identical in performance and capability to the Rio units, but just look different.

I've been given a contact for getting hold of these units - Frank Pelli: [email protected]

If you want a unit (not sure on the price, I'm guessing around $150, and I'm not sure if they'll ship to Europe, but it's worth a try) then email him with a return phone number and he'll get someone to call back & take the order.

I just received the one that I ordered from Tiger Direct and it is the black unit and looks just like the Dell except there is a "sonicblue" sticker on the front top right panel (maybe to cover up where it once said Dell?).

Just a FYI
