FS to good home: 110GB Mk2 - 15/07/2004 11:48

After careful consideration I've decided to go with a Rio Karma for my mp3 needs.
Sale includes:
1 110 Mk2 player (80gb + 30 gb)
1 sled
2 wiring harnesses
1 remote
1 player bag (unofficial)
2 ac power cords
1 dc power cord
several lenses (these aren't in the best of shape though)
Asking 550, all offers considered. Please contact through pm with offers. Comments welcome, but don't flame me too badly.

Man, the amount of wiring harnesses currently on the market could arm a small fleet. Well, a fleet of 6 cars, I guess.

How do you intend to squeeze 110GB into 20GB? That's going to be tough.

Rio Music Manager and the DJ functions to automatically upload / remote songs periodically, I guess.

Well my library doesn't really utilize 110 GB. That was just for bragging rights in the office. My collection is almost all complete albums and I really don't listen to music that way. I'll have to be creative I'm sure.

Bump...
Should have said this before...
The only reason I'm getting rid of the empeg is the installation issue.

Have you actually tried the Karma in the car yet? My wife's worked great, but it wasn't near as nice to use as the empeg. The navigation is a pain while you're driving and it doesn't automatically cut off when you turn of the car. The latter is pretty obvious, but it's one more step you have to take whenever you get in/out of your car and it became a mild annoyance for me. Still, a Karma is better than anything else other than an empeg, and you can't beat the portability. I'd just hate for you to buy into this solution and find out it's not really what you've come to expect out of your car stereo.
