WTB a 2nd player - 21/03/2005 05:01

It's time for me to finally get a second player... getting paranoid about my first one failing and want to make sure I have a spare. I've either PM'd or emailed a few people who have posted for sale messages here, but don't seem to have much luck getting responses so I thought I'd put out a general call.

Looking for a MKIIa preferably. Hard drive size doesn't really matter too terribly much, if it's too small I'll just put a bigger one in anyway. Need a tuner, other than that anything over and above (custom fascia, lighted button/knob kit, etc) would be nice (and raise the price accordingly) but isn't necessary. I'd love to get one completely kitted out with all the bells and whistles (mine is still mostly stock, except for an 80 gb hard drive upgrade) but a stock one is fine too (although I might be looking to hire someone to do the lighted button kit for me).

Please email me at [email protected] with the details of your player and what you'd like to get for it. Got some income tax refund money burning a hole in my pocket, come get it!

Thanks for the emails, all... I'm currently working with Jay F. to purchase his Mk2a (just sent off the paypal pmt). If my eBay auctions go well (selling off some OOP CD's), I might come back here to buy a third one, or I might just go pay someone to let me lie underneath a Guinness tap for an hour or so instead

Btw, I still need a tuner and a pointer to someone reputable to do a lighted button kit install... I emailed the Eutronix guys but not sure if they are still around or not since I didn't get a response.

If you either have a tuner or know of someone who I can trust with my baby long enough to install the lighted buttons please let me know! I am a fair hand at soldering, but I'm not nearly confident enough to trust myself with my empeg...
