Mk2/2a car mounts

Mk2/2a car mounts - 23/01/2008 12:45

I have a few (around 4 or 5 I think) MK2 car sleds with wiring that are probably surplus to requirements. The catch is that they are part of a faulty batch where the top lip wasn't folded correctly, so the empeg doesn't go in all the way. It's an easy mod though, you just have to cut or grind a couple of millimeters off the front edge and everything is happy. Anyone interested?

Without looking at them I think they're the original stainless steel MK2 units, not the later plated steel MK2a ones.

How much are you looking for to ship to the states? Always good to have a spare sled, and my connector in is bad shape.

Don't suppose you have any Mk2/2A chassis' laying around?

I do. What do you need?

(I'm away from home so can't look at my empeg)

I'd be looking for the lid, base (with the Hirose connector), hard drive tray, handle. Fascia probably not required but I'll take it if available.

Pretty much all but the two PCBs really I guess that comes down to.

Perhaps you could PM me with that info again, along with some indication of what this is all worth to you ?

Cheers
