Last of my 10/20/60 gigs forsale - 03/07/2002 18:38

The last of my units that did not go to friends is now forsale. I have sold several of these to board members, and several on eBay. I know that people are worried about scams. I will allow buyers to pick the units up, and via eBay am open to using escrow. After this auction I will have two 10 gigs and one 60 gig forsale.

20 gig:

Thanks,

Yes I will happily ship to Europe, but only via Airmail and with full insurance -- IE, I will not declare the value as $10 to avoid customs.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have no idea how the customers in countries other than Italy handle these goods... but consider that the whole thing might cost you more than a bit... so be prepared! :-(
In my (unfortunate) case I had to pay something more than an extra 30% of the price I had to pay for the Empegs (2 units with their full value) + shipping!!! Yes... Toll fees and VAT on the shipment expences as well!!! It sounded nonsense to me... but no way... I had to pay something like 250-260$ extra for my two units...

Still the Empeg is worth much more than that... ;-)

Good luck!

Hello, I was just wondering what you would be asking for the 60 gig empeg as I would be interested! Thanks much!

Hi,

I had to pay about 52% import duties on my empeg when I bought it in 2000. I live in South Africa. Italy doesn't sound too bad .

On the customs form, mark it as a gift. Then the person doesn't pay any VAT/etc. I sell on eBay all the time to people all over the world, and they don't pay VAT.
