why is it that on bulletin boards like that, I always see a message, then a reply to that message by someone else which just includes the content of the message being replied to? It's very annoying.

Coz those of us who don't have boredband or want to wear out our mice with clicking, view it in flat mode and include preceding text so we don't get confused.

Sometimes I'll Google for information about drivers, and a site named "driver guide" or something will pop up, and there'll be people talking in the driver guide forums or whatever, and 99% of the responses will have no message body except for the quoted previous message. It looks so stupid. I don't even bother following links to that site anymore.
