Barclaycard

This is for UK Barclaycard users.

If you've got loads of profile points you've done nothing with, the scheme stops on 28th February (there was an expose on Watchdog last night).

I've just copped for 8 cases of wine and £30 leisure vouchers.

To get the cases of wine, 1300 points plus £14.99: Choice of mixed, red or white. You have to phone 0870 1600192 quoting ref. JH 37

If you don't use them, you can transfer them to a Nectar card, the point being that then they are worth zilch.

There was a good point that the equivalent cash back on the Barclaycard is 0.029% or something - you can get up to 3% on other cards *and* pay less than 17% APR. My Cahoot card was the cheapest at 10.9% but although it's gone up to 12% - they are offering 7% to new customers at the moment, fsck knows why! Cashback is 0.5% which is not that good.

Wow, flashback of spam from the subject here. For a whle I kept getting e-mail from a ton of people with the subject simply being "barclaycard" and an HTML message (thus it dosen't open in my preview window). At least I know now that it wasn't the newest Outlook virus.

Anyone know who the 3% or nearest is, in the UK? , as I pay off the whole balance each month, and Barclaycard don't seem to be showing me any loyalty, I might as well go for the biggest kick back.
