That is farking fascinating. In the midst of a giant mess that I generally object to, I *think* my hat's off to somebody for thinking something through.

Hey, there's this outfit in New Jersey that recycles no-hoper used pianos...

hehe, the funny thing is that they've been using these things for years as practice bombs.

LOL. I'm waiting for the laser-guided anvil.

And the ultimate munitions for your every anti-tyrannical-dictator needs must surely be the GPS-enabled graffiti-spray-can so that you can vandalise all of the portraits. This would have an additional benefit in that the Regime loyalists would have to clean/replace the portraits giving you a prime opportunity to take them out. Maybe the spray paint should contain some chemical that will react with detergent in a mildly explosive manner, thus saving you the hassle of waiting.

My favorite was a large "MEAN PEOPLE SUCK" scrawled on a portrait of Saddam. It's good to see our soldiers' senses of humor are still largely intact.

"bunker busting" cruise missile Storm Shadow, which cost £750,000 apiece

wha???
how much for accurate concreting? couldn't we just send over a team of Italians?

LOL.. I think you misread that slightly. The Storm Shadows aren't the concrete bombs. IIRC, they are air launched cruise missiles. A bargain compared to the current Tomahawks. (Although cheaper Tomahawks are on the way.)
