Does sonicblue have any kind of price guarantee ?

I want to buy a rio central but I with my luck and the current situation I could see them having a blowout sale on them after I order one. I am wondering if anyone in this situation when the empegs were reduced go a credit or something. I they say there is a 30 day return policy so would I have to send it back and reorder ?

I called sonicblue but all they would tell me is the website has the current price.

A buddy of mine, got his 10gb empeg when the price first went down to $699, or $799. 1 month later they where $199. He called and waited on the phone with sonicblue for over 4 hours, but got his $500 credit. I kept telling him just to have SB send him 3 more 10gb empegs

Yeah, but they did have a specific policy in place then for people who bought a player immediately before the firesale.
